A member asked:

What would you do if the doctors told you, you had a one two percent chance your baby would be born with downs?

Your Choice: The decisions you make with any pregnancy go to the core of your own feelings, influenced by the information you have. Any pregnancy has a 3-4% risk of some unexpected outcome. Down syndrome kids have higher health care needs & live a different life than others but live into their 60's. You can get more data with more specific testing later.Your comment leaves 98% that baby is not, work with that.

Discuss and Consider: Testing is available during the pregnancy, and I would suggest discussing this with your specialist.
