Size doesn't matter: With individualized trays, the dental technician produces an individual impression tray customized to your jaw. In order to do this, a pre-impression is initially taken. This is helpful in case of difficult jaw conditions like very large/small jaws, after tumor surgeries and atypical anatomical shape, etc. The quality and accuracy of the dental impression is more important than the size.
