Penicillin: Penicillins, such as pen kvm, amoxicillin.Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) are good. Cephalosporins such as keflex, ceclore are also good. For people allergic to those above, cleomycin is the antibiotic of choice.

DISCUSS WITH DENTIST: I would just like a make a very strong recommendation: never ever self prescribe medication for yourself! unless you are a health care provider yourself, you are not trained to know what antibiotic to take, nor the dosage, duration, etc. Please leave that to the professionals, and in this case, the dentist who extracted your tooth. I totally disagree with anyone who advises you otherwise.
