Follow instruction: Given by doc who placed sutures: keep area clean & dry; avoid putting unnecessary tension on sutures; watch for signs of infection (increasing redness/pain; pus; red streaks) or opening of wound. Follow up with doc for wound check & to have sutures removed (unless self-dissolving).

Heal: No pun intended, sorry. Keep it dry watch for any redness swelling and pain that could indicate infection and follow up with your doctor within 1-2 weeks for suture removal.
