See your Dr: Swelling is normal after any injury. Try elevating the foot & taking Motrin if medically allowed. If there is increased pain, redness, warmth, or purulent drainage from the wound, you might have an infection in which case you should see your dr as soon as possible.

Better work up: Did they do proper x-rays with your trauma? This is to diagnose a missed fracture. Is there pain? Sometimes just tissue swelling (bruising and ecchymosis) following an injury can cause this as well. See your primary doctor to help determine the cause.
