Congestion medicine: There are a number of medicines available over the counter to treat congestion and post nasal drip. The easiest thing to do is to go to your nearest pharmacy and speak to the pharmacist, tell him or her that you want a decongestant that will not affect your heart. Also some products will state on their label that they do not affect the heart.
