No: Lipoma is not cancer and is benign tumor but if causing symptoms see the surgeon for resection of tumor.

Be seen: A lipoma is a benign growth of fatty tissue and usually does not cause pain, nor is it usually tender. An ultrasound is not a sensative enough test to distinguish between a lipoma and other growths. So if you are having symptoms of pain, I would definitely get some further testing or even consider an excisional biopsy.
