A member asked:

Is the medtronic cage a useful device to help people with back pain who need a spinal fusion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not the device: That is necessarily useful. It is making sure the right person is having the correct surgery for the appropriate indications by the "right" surgeon. There are lots of good devices on the market for spinal fusion surgery. The type of device is the least important factor in this scenario.
