Tough situation: I am sorry you have this pain. There are many options from chronic medication management to spinal cord stimulators. If possible, avoid further surgery. See an experienced pain interventionalist who can give injections around the hardware and this may help with some of the pain and they also may be able to do the stimulator trials. I hope this helps and best of luck.
