How should my socket look and what colour should it be 4 days after an extraction ( bottom molar ) should it be closed or still open ?

May be whitish : It may not be totally closed yet. You may have a whitish film over the extraction socket. Open and pink: After only 4 days the socket is usually still open if not sutured closed. Color should be similar to surrounding tissues in most cases if healing uneventfully.
