It depends: You may have conjunctivitis. It can be viral, bacterial or allergic. If your secretion is thick, yellow and green then its bacterial. You need to see your eye doc asap to get antibiotic treatment. The viral conjunctivitis usually associated with cold or flue. Allergic conjunctivitis can be itchy. Its better to see your eye doc for a better assessment and treatment.
