Eyes swollen sunburn: You clearly received a sunburn to the lids and cheeks. If you have blue eyes and very fair skin, you might have gotten an overdose of sunshine if you were out all day especially from 2 to 5 pm and the breezes distracted you from the intensity of the afternoon rays.
