Non-healing Scar: There are many reasons why wounds don't heal after surgery. If the mole was cancerous (melanoma), the cancer could still be growing. Did your doctor send the mole for pathology? Other problems are tension on the wound, infection, trauma, such as scratching, and hypertrophic scarring.
