Depends: Is the cough a barky sealy cough? Is your baby in distress? If in distress you should go to the er, if not in distress and it is a barky sealy cough going outside in the cold works better than steam . It sounds like croup that gets progressively worse over 3 days , is worse at night then starts to improve. If you are worried, go to theer.
