My baby is 1 month old and congested. i am breast feeding exclusively. he is still drinking but struggles although his output is good. his drinking/sleeping intervals have increased. i have used the baby vac. is there anything else besides saline?

Be vigorous: A vigorous saline washout is the best aid for a congested infant.Use a lot & piss the kid off during the process but that is the best thing to do. Removing airborne irritants like dust/perfumes/from babies environment will help over time.

Cool air mist: If the congestion continues, a sample of a nasal washing may be sent to the lab for analysis. The baby's growth and development should be reviewed at his next visit. At two months his immunizations are due.
