What causes a cycle to go for 11 days and be dark red/brown? been using every month clomid/steroids to help me ovulate but need a break. neg test.

See below: This is probably due to the hormone Clomid (clomiphene) you have been using.

Not normal: 11 days is not normal. It may be from higher estrogen levels from clomid (clomiphene). Or it might be a negative side effect of Clomid (clomiphene) actually thinning out the uterine lining leading to atrophic spotting. Or it could be a sign of a polyp or fibroid or something else. It is worth a re-evaluation.
