Late period: If you need Clomid (clomiphene) in order to ovulate it also very likely that you have had irregulr periods in the past. Clomid (clomiphene) does not work every time on every patient. Best advice is to schedule a follow up with the doctor who prescribed the clomid (clomiphene).

Not Pregnant: Most people taking Clomid (clomiphene) do not get pregnant first try. Dozens of possible reasons. Remember a large portion of infertility is actually a male factor (low sperm count, bad motility). If you are not pregnant after 3 or so cycles of clomid, (clomiphene) then you need to see a fertility specialist. If you are already seeing one, see a different one because they should have discussed this with you.
