Supposed to start clomid on cd5 next cycle. im cd 45 nowand had bright red bleeding when i wipe for two days. i havent ovulated. is this my period?

Clomid cycle ?: Clomiphene citrate does not always induce ovulation, and the dose may have to be elevated to cause ovulation. "Bright red bleeding" is generally not secondary to true menstruation, and if your cycles prior to taking clomid were anovulatory, the bleeding is probably due to withdrawal bleeding from stimulation of the lining cells with estrogen, without progesterone (only present with ovulation).
