Ovulation changes: Clomiphene regulates ovulation, but occasionally creates a hormonally active ovarian cyst. These cysts usually resolve spontaneously, but can create irregular bleeding in the meantime. Other common causes of spotting are fibroids and polyps. Any gyn should be able to screen for these.
