Glycolic Acid Peels: These alpha/beta (glycolic acid) peels are superficial chemical peels and remove a few layers of dead skin with each peel. Sometimes, after several peels (every 4 weeks) the sun spots, freckles, and pigmentation can lighten sufficiently. You can combine these peels with other topical creams and lighteners to get a better effect. See a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for help.
