Can hyperpigmentation cause a chemical peel to fade by itself?

From a peel?: I wonder if the question is whether hyperpigmentation from a chemical peel can fade without treatment. Probably some. It can be important to protect the areas from sun or tanning also. Bleaching products, tretinoin, anti-inflammatory creams might help also.
