It take time: Hopefully you could walking better but it take to recover also depend on what kind of surgery you have.

Yes 2-6 months: For resolution of inflammation then soft tissue healing, 1 year or bony healing , depends on what surgery longer for fusions dont over do it rest and heal het pain under control and return slowly to activities.
