Call Surgeons Office: We have many alternatives to narcotic pain medication to help control postop pain, such as ice packs, nsaids (ibuprofen, naproxen), and acetaminophen. If that doesn't work, you may need a higher narcotic dose. Please check with your surgeon--they will likely offer these options. Rest assured, the pain will lessen every day!

Take extra pill: Call your dr. Office. You just had surgery so maybe need to go in for a visit to make sure everything ok.
