Back of heel pain: is usually achilles tendonpathy, or a haglunds deformity (projection of bone) or a heel spur..

Demands attention...: It sound like you are in the very early stages of a condition known as Achilles tendinitis. You must begin to protect the tendon attachment at the back of the heel now, or face ever increasing heel pain. Because of the required need to use the calf muscle in every day activities, such as walking, treating this can be frustrating. Depending on the severity, a walking boot may become necessary.
