Of course: Any physician finds something wrong with you when you presented with a different complaint has an obligation to tell you his findings and advice you to follow up with appropriate clinic, specialist or family physician.But if his findings suggest that some action has to be taken right away than it will be recommended.

Yes: If they notice something that needs follow up they should mention it to you . They will not remind you to get routine screening tests.
