Referral vs 2nd opin: Depending upon your insurance, you may need to get primary care provider to refer you to a specialist. But consider giving your doc a chance. When making your next appt, ask for 1st in AM or 1st after lunch. Then ask to block out extra time if possible. That way s/he can focus on you. Or your doc might prefer to make you last of AM/PM so no other patients to distract or pull away. Good luck!
