Mucinex-D and Afrin (oxymetazoline): Try mucinex-d as long as you don't have blood pressure problems, for 7-10 days. It's is useful to use afrin nasal spray 2 sprays each nostril 2x a day for 3 days only, as well. The nasal spray will decongest your nose and eustachian tube right behind your nose to help drain the fluid.
