Low risk: Overall these injection are low risk. The main concerns are bleeding and injection. The scary ones are nerve injury, paralysis or even death. These are true for almost everything we do in medicine. The better your doc is at identifying the possible source of pain and delivering the injection to the right area, the better chances you have. Make sure a physician is performing the injection!

They work : There are risks with evry procedure. There is no guarantee that it will work. Discuss this with your doctor and give them consent. They do work to decrease or relieve your pain.
