A member asked:

What do you do when you find out the doctor gave you a median nerve block cervical on the wrong side of your neck?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neck pain: The first step is to discuss with your doctor your concern that the nerve block was performed on the wrong side of the neck. It may be a true mistake or a misunderstanding of the actual nerve being blocked. Also, some injections are performed in the midline and are meant to block both sides of the spine. I am sure there is a reasonable explanation. Don't be afraid to ask.
