Very successful: Radio frequency ablation is the process that heat the nerve to prevent it from relaying a pain message to the brain. Generally, benefits last up,to a year. BUT you must be certain that the treated nerve is the pain source, or the treatment will fail. Often, there is more than 1 cause for your pain.
