A member asked:

Last summer i got a sever upper respiratory illness, 6 weeks. had fever, but was in 100 d heat 12hrs a day. fever from illness or heat? coughed fluid.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably infection: High temperatures will raise your body temperature, but usually minimally unless you are becoming dehydrated or not sweating adequately (which is one way the body loses heat). No guarantee, but it sounds like this was related to infection.
