I have had a fever from 100 to 104 for the past 4 days, after two trips to urgent care i did not have influenza a or b, it is a viral infection and respiratory infection. i was given cough syrup with codine and have been alternating motrin and tylenol.

Sounds correct: If this is a viral illness you should begin to improve within a day or two and have less fever and fatigue. You do not need antibiotics and the urgent care people seem to have done well.
