Possible : Concentration and memory issue can result from stress . Stress can make existing problems worse...I.E add, anxiety, or depression. Concentration problems happen in anxiety and depression as much as they do in add, if this persists or you feel it is affecting your academic performance, you may want to talk to a college counselor.

College days: There are many distractions in college and combine that with less structure and the new found freedom, all can cause big distraction. You should create a schedule and study with like minded people who are serious about education. What you describe could be due to stress too. Create an exercise plan with good sleeping habits to beat stress.
