Obsessive thoughts can be prominent in two different types of anxiety disorders: 1. Post traumatic stress disorder and 2. Obsessive compulsive disorder. However, being unable to get things out of your mind can occur for most then just these two reasons. If you are feeling anxious and stressed, you might consider seeing a psychologist or a psychiatrist to get a little help. Take care.

Anxiety : It is advisable for you to see a Clinical Psychologist to find out more about what is troubling you, causing the anxiety, and how to feel better. Medication may also be added to help you with repetitive thoughts.
