Silent reflux: It sounds like you may be having gastro-esophageal reflux but the degree of acidity is not low enough to cause heartburn. Patients with this problem will complain of voice change, cough and/or sore throat or tongue. Treatment includes the use of h-2 blockers or ppis which are both otc or prescription. If symptoms persist you should see your doctor.
