would suppliments like whey protein or creatine powders help or hinder healing of pulled muscles?

Likely neither: Eating extra protein or extra Amino Acids is sort of like eating a second helping of roast pork loin, grilled chicken breast, or scrambled egg whites. The foods taste better, cost less, are more natural, and should support healing just as well.
