A member asked:

I got mrsa about 10/12 days after a "debridement" between my small right toe. the doctor "did not" wear any gloves nor did he wash his hands. ?

Should not be: Most doctors are very used to taking universal precautions at every patient encounter, especially when MRSA is involved. Washing before, after, and wearing gloves should have been standard procedure.

Gloves...: Many podiatric physicians don't wear gloves during a standard exam... But they always wash their hands prior to treating any patient. Don't blame the doctor unless you have proof!
