Up to you: If there is no pain and you are not swollen, you are probably fine for 2 more days. With that said, if you are concerned of problems occuring prior to your appointment, you can always ask for something earlier.

Not necessarily: Two days is not a significant amount of time to wait for an asymptomatic, chronic infection in a healthy individual.

Sooner = better: You should see an endodontist. They often have emergency hours and are used to accomodating people in pain. You might be placed on antibiotics for a few days before treatment to get infection reduced. Will need to be seen for this determination.
