Short term-Yes. : Long term -no. Symptoms may abate temporarily with a home remedy, but the will usually re occur. A definitive diagnosis and treatment is best accomplished with a dentist.

No: Infections typically require antibiotics, but this is only a temporary fix. The source of the infection, the tooth, needs to be addressed as well.
