Talk to your doctor: Croup is usually caused by a particular virus which "stays around" for only a couple of weeks. It can cause thick mucus and that can make a child throw up. If things are getting better, be patient. However, if symptoms are now getting worse or if fever has reappeared, contact your doctor.
