Radiological evidence such as ct scan, MRI or ultrasound done in spaced intervals may demonstrate a growing fibroid over a significant time frame. Unless the fibroid is a fibroid extruding through the cervix. Then one would be able to do a physical exam over time since it is accessible. Anything that is rapidly growing needs to be examine ASAP.
