Nasal Steroid Spray: Flonase (fluticasone) is a steroid nose spray used to treat inflammation of the skin lining the nose. Inflammation can occur due to exposure to pollen or strong odors. Taken on a daily basis, it is used especially for a sensation of a stuffy nose. Nose bleeds are a common side effect of this medication which can be reduced by proper spray technique.
