Besides flonase is there a prescription medication (oral liquid or pill) to help with turbinate hypertrophy?

If you have turbinate hypertrophy due to allergic rhinitis, the best treatment will be avoidance of the allergen. Allergic to pets, dust mites, carpet, pollen, etc. should be addressed. We do not prescribe oral steroids for this problem. If you have not taken OTC anti-histamine drugs such as claritin (loratadine), zyrtec (cetirizine) or allegra ( fexofenadine), you should give it try.
