Yes: Absoluetly. Any teeth you see clean with brush and water. Make sure there is no plaque on teeth. Keep them squeaky clean!

Oh heck yes...: First off...They ain't gonna clean themselves. From the first moment your child started showing teeth...You and the toothbrush should have been in there. You don't have to scrub hard but jus let the child get used to having the toothbrush in his mouth. No toothpaste necessary. Make it a game or whatever it takes...But don't let those things go...You'll have an unhappy child and big dental bills.

Definitely: As soon as they erupt you should start cleaning them (even before the first tooth erupts, wiping your childs gums after eating can help lower the bacterisa count) you can use a wet cloth with water or a toothbrush and training toothpaste.

Mostly never:-): Its best to avoid pop as much as possible for adults as well. An occasional cup will probably not do much harm although you want to make sure to brush well after.

Try: Try drinking some warm liquid after treatment. It may help dilate local blood vessels and allow the anesthetic to go away a little faster.

Yes: Getting into the habit early will not only help keep your child's teeth healthy, it will also make it a part of the usual routine. Trying to intrduce brushing once a kid is older is often more difficult.

See your MD: It is not normal. Pain is usually a sign of damage occuring. You should be seen by your doctor to evaluate what is causing the pain. A lumbar support pillow during long trips could help alleviate the pain.
