I wasn't aware of the prohibition of raw honey in toddlers less than one year old. Even though it's a tiny amount, notify your pediatrician who will give you instructions as to what to watch for. The concern is whether the raw honey was contaminated by botulism causing spores.

Honey should be avoided in the first year , but the risk diminishes after six months of age as the GI tract matures. Watch for signs of constipation,weakness and change in cry. It is not likely that this exposure will cause problems, close observation is recommended.
