Yes: Pureed fruits and vegetables can also be started between 4 and 6 months. Start a new food no more often than every 2 to 3 days to make sure your baby is not allergic to the new food.

Feeding a four month: In general, 4 months is considered the earliest to start food other than breast milk/formula. If you are going to introduce jar foods 9 purees0 or homemade, be sure it is a single ingredient at a time. The AAP cautions to wait 3-4 days between new foods but I tell my patients wait a week between new foods- the baby has a lifetime to eat.
