A member asked:

Can a 6month old child be allergic to rice puree?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A kid can have a food allergy or intolerance to just about anything you would feed them. It could be the rice protein or any preservative or additive in the puree. I encourage moms to keep a calender, writing down when they try new foods & any issues that come up for the next several days. Any reaction could be a coincidence ( some other exposure) or the food. Repeated rxns mean it is the food.
