Let me rephrase my five month old does not seem interested in trying baby foods purees not solids sorry..what age should they start to be interested?

Too early: Babies do not need solids in the first year.Formula or breast milk are total nutrition. As a culture, we generally begin offering solids as a puree as soon as they sit up,which is about the time their tongue thrust fades. Six months is the earliest I start and I let the kid decide when they are ready. You may offer an item a dozen times before they decide to try it. Be patient.
