Make a list, check it twice, prioritize: We all could use tips the holidays loom. First, remember that a holiday is just that, a holy day or, for many, a vacation. It need not be a marathon spending spree. People like gifts, but your feeling the need to find the best gift, now at the best price, is not making you healthy or happy, is it? Likewise the pressure to create the best meal, atmosphere etc is often too much. Relax and decide what is most important. Then do that.

Stay active: Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Your body releases endorphins during exercise, which can help you feel calm. If you exercise 30 - 60 minutes a day, your stress levels can improve. When stressed, take 5 slow, deep breaths with your eyes closed, then roll your shoulders forward 5 times, then back 5 times. This will slow your heart rate and release tension in your neck and shoulders.
