That depends!: It is important to think carefully about or speak to a counselor about what is causing your stress. Changing things in your daily life, at work or at home, may help. Many people can reduce stress by starting a regular exercise program or finding time every day to do something relaxing (like listening to music, playing with your dog, doing yoga or meditation, etc).

Redirection: To deal with stress, the best way to deal with it is to redirect your thoughts to pleasant events or feelings. This can be facilitated by listening to music;reading a book; and doing simple chores. There are 2 different kinds of stress = eustress and distress.Eustress refers to normally stressful events when stress is a natural component=moving;getting married;graduating school;etc;
